Love Is the Nature of Reality

We begin this contemplation by understanding and feeling our self to be the luminous, spacious presence of awareness. As the luminous presence of awareness we are the knower of all experience. We then explore the allowing, welcoming nature of our self, awareness, and discover its innate peace and joy. In the first two steps we separate awareness from the content of experience, the knower from the known, the witness from the witnessed. In the third step we collapse the apparent distinction between awareness and the content of experience, and self and other dissolve in the experience of love.
